Coquette is a neighborhood oriented, fine dining restaurant located in the the Historic Garden District of New Orleans. We pride ourselves in serving locally sourced, seasonal products from gulf producers in a way that is both familiar and new.
We are just as committed to providing a healthy and safe working environment as we are to the local and sustainable agricultural products in our kitchen. Servers & Server Assistants
Overview:
Servers are the primary person our guests interact with throughout the night and must effectively serve as the tour guide of their dining experience. They must be the experts of the restaurant, able to fluidly move between discussion of food and beverage, offering recommendations and navigating any dietary restrictions a guest might have.
We are looking for people who:
- Are excited about working with a small and passionate team of professionals.
- Are self-motivated and comfortable interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Are comfortable communicating with co-workers.
- Are detail-oriented and organized.
- Have excellent time management, prioritization and multitasking skills.
- Are interested in a constantly changing menu and confident in explaining dishes to guests.
Line Cooks
Overview:
Line Cooks are the back bone of our restaurant and must eager to work a broad range of stations as well as rotating prep and occasional porter shifts. While professional cooking experience is required, complete and thorough training will be provided from the onset of employment. It is our goal to build a team not defined by station or tenure, but one of universal training and equitable work-share.
We are looking for people who:
